Programs Committee

1. The advisory Programs Committee is disbanded.

2. The Board of Directors intends to establish through subsequent resolutions specialized advisory committees that will work to implement the Corporation's annual plan and strategic priorities.

Fundraising Committee

A. Amendment to the Fundraising Committee's Charter

1. Paragraph 2 of Resolution No. 2.B10.12 regarding the Fundraising Committee, as adopted on the Board of Directors on July 21, 2012, is amended by striking ", and shall serve as the Chair of said committee in the same capacity".

B. Referral of Business to the Fundraising Committee

1. Each fiscal year, within 30 days of the approval of the annual budget by the members, the Committee shall prepare and submit a proposal through the Wikimedia Foundation's Projects and Events Grants process. The proposal shall cover all or part of the planned program expenses as deemed necessary. The Committee may submit additional proposals through such process with the approval of the President.
2. The Committee shall prepare an annual fundraising plan within 60 days of the approval of the annual budget by the members. The plan shall detail strategies to be adopted for the purposes of generating sufficient revenue to cover the costs of Wikimedia District of Columbia's operations for the given fiscal year. The plan shall also address long-term considerations of Wikimedia District of Columbia's fundraising infrastructure and donor constituencies.
3. The Committee shall submit monthly reports to the Board of Directors, documenting the Committee's progress.

Content Programs Committee

1. The Content Programs Committee shall be an advisory committee to the Board of Directors, and shall consist of several persons who may, but need not be, Directors.

2. The role of the Content Programs Committee shall be to advise the Board of Directors on programs and associated matters related to the mission and strategic priorities of the Corporation, specifically with regards to improving the content on projects operated by the Wikimedia Foundation. The Committee shall assist the Board of Directors in organizing events and activities, seeking partnerships, and recruiting volunteers to this end.

3. The Board of Directors shall ensure that candidates for appointment to the Committee are supportive of the strategic priorities of the Corporation and have experience organizing projects, online or otherwise, dedicated to the improvement of Wikimedia projects.

4. The Committee shall submit monthly reports to the Board of Directors, documenting the activities undertaken by the Committee. The Committee shall be responsible for documenting the persons and organizations contacted by the Committee in the Corporation's records.

5. The Cultural Partnerships Coordinator shall be an ex officio member of the Committee.

Technology Programs Committee

1. The Technology Programs Committee shall be an advisory committee to the Board of Directors, and shall consist of several persons who may, but need not be, Directors.

2. The role of the Technology Programs Committee shall be to advise the Board of Directors on programs and associated matters related to the mission and strategic priorities of the Corporation, specifically with regards to software projects that provide direct or indirect support to projects operated by the Wikimedia Foundation. The Committee shall assist the Board of Directors in organizing events and activities, seeking partnerships, and recruiting volunteers sympathetic to this end.

3. The Board of Directors shall ensure that candidates for appointment to the Committee are supportive of the strategic priorities of the Corporation and have experience organizing open source software-related projects and events, including, but not limited to, hack-a-thons.

4. The Committee shall submit monthly reports to the Board of Directors, documenting the activities undertaken by the Committee. The Committee shall be responsible for documenting the persons and organizations contacted by the Committee in the Corporation's records.

5. The advisory Technology Committee is renamed the Technical Infrastructure Committee.

Community Programs Committee

1. The Community Programs Committee shall be an advisory committee to the Board of Directors, and shall consist of several persons who may, but need not be, Directors.

2. The role of the Community Programs Committee shall be to advise the Board of Directors on programs and associated matters related to the mission and strategic priorities of the Corporation, specifically with regards to building a community in support of projects operated by the Wikimedia Foundation and with regards to conducting outreach activities promoting participation in such projects. The Committee shall assist the Board of Directors in organizing events and activities, seeking partnerships, and recruiting volunteers to this end.

3. The Board of Directors shall ensure that candidates for appointment to the Committee are supportive of the strategic priorities of the Corporation and have experience in training Wikimedia project contributors or building volunteer communities.

4. The Committee shall submit monthly reports to the Board of Directors, documenting the activities undertaken by the Committee. The Committee shall be responsible for documenting the persons and organizations contacted by the Committee in the Corporation's records.

5. The Social Media Coordinator shall be an ex officio member of the Committee.
