Wikipedia is an openly editable resource, meaning that you can improve the quality and accuracy of Wikipedia articles. As one of the web’s most visited reference sites, Wikipedia serves as a starting point for many individuals looking to learn about art, history, and science. Content on Wikipedia is not even, currently only 18% of biographies are about women. Help us correct that imbalance by editing articles about women on Wikipedia.

The Rise and Impact of Chicano Graphics, 1965 to Now. On Friday, February 14th, we will be writing articles about USDA's Women in Red. You can join us at any time from 11-3 and from anywhere - a virtual meeting room invite will be sent out a couple days prior to the event to those who register. Feel free to sign in and edit at any time on the 14th for our edit-a-thon (even outside of our time frame) - as long as you sign in on the event page (directions for signing in are on the event page itself)before you start editing we will be able to track our engagement and impact. We will have an Ethernet Pad set up so folks signing in can share who they're working on, and so we can ensure that we're not creating multiple drafts for the same folks. You will also be able to use it for questions and assistance.
