Disclaimer: The annual membership dues of Wikimedia District of Columbia are $10. Any payment above this amount is considered to be a donation, and does not entitle the member to any additional privileges. Members who contribute $25 or more will be listed as sponsors in our Annual Report.
Becoming a member of Wikimedia DC is one of the easiest and most effective ways you can support our mission, and anyone can become a member! We welcome everyone from the DC region and from around the world to join.

Make a difference. Your membership dues help fund our outreach and educational activities. Our mission relies on the support of our members.
Be part of a global movement. Wikimedia DC is a chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation and part of a family of charities that includes dozens of chapters across the world. Our work is part of an international effort to further the advancement of free knowledge and culture.
Guide our future direction. Our members elect our Board of Directors, approve our operating budget, and set strategic priorities for our work. All members are invited to participate in our annual membership meeting and to discuss and vote on the future of Wikimedia DC.
