Sara Snyder (User:Sarasays) made her first registered Wikipedia edit in 2007. She supports free and open access to knowledge by fostering collaboration between Wikimedians and the U.S. GLAM community, especially the Smithsonian Institution. She currently serves as Chief of the Media and Technology Office of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and was formerly the Webmaster at the Archives of American Art. She holds an MLS in information studies and an MA in American history from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a BA in Literature from UC San Diego.
