Protection of Home

Hi. I've unprotected Home. It was set to admin-only editing/moving, cascading. This seemed excessive and disproportionate given that, according to the page history, there's only ever been one instance of vandalism. Surely we can simply block users or try semi-protection, as necessary and appropriate? --MZMcBride (talk) 19:41, 14 March 2013 (EDT)

Domain issue

Hi. As I discussed with James earlier today, there's an issue where http://wikidc.org/wiki/Special:UserLogin and http://wikimediadc.org/wiki/Special:UserLogin both function currently. There should only be one canonical form of the URL, otherwise it's possible to log in to wikidc.org without being logged in to wikimediadc.org, and vice versa. This is bad as it's terribly confusing and damages the user experience.

I'm not sure who controls the wikidc.org domain, but its redirect logic should be fixed as soon as possible. Thanks! --MZMcBride (talk) 19:44, 14 March 2013 (EDT)

Fixed I've redirected blog.wikidc.org, www.wikidc.org, wikidc.org, and www.wikimediadc.org. --Jeremyb (talk) 04:08, 15 March 2013 (EDT)
Sweet, thanks! --MZMcBride (talk) 02:18, 16 March 2013 (EDT)

Spam on this wiki

Hmmm. Are the spammers getting past reCAPTCHA? --MZMcBride (talk) 21:16, 12 April 2013 (EDT)

Fatal error at Special:Undelete

Hi. While logged in as an admin, http://wikimediadc.org/wiki/Special:Undelete/File:Kirill_Lokshin.png is currently returning a completely blank (white) page for me. This usually indicates that the wiki is hitting an HTTP 500 error as the result of a PHP fatal error. Whoever is administering this wiki should investigate this. --MZMcBride (talk) 01:32, 22 April 2013 (EDT)

P.S. Hosting and backups and mailing lists are related to this. I'm only posting on this talk page because I'm not sure who I should be contacting or where I should be posting.
