William Beutler is the founder and president of Beutler Ink, a digital agency specializing in visual storytelling, inbound marketing and wiki engagement. Active on the English-language Wikipedia since June 2006, he is the author of The Wikipedian blog, and has helped to promote best practices for the public relations discipline on Wikipedia. In 2014 he led the adoption of a joint statement by several global PR firms pledging to follow Wikipedia's rules, and published an ebook, Wikipedia and the Communications Professional: A Primer. Likewise something of a a creative dilettante, it would not be inaccurate to call him a multimedia artist, serial podcast creator, and intermittent filmmaker.
