Wikimedia DC holds a variety of public events, including training sessions, edit-a-thons, and editing workshops to increase awareness of our mission and build interest in contributing to free knowledge projects.
With these events, we aim to build a community around Wikipedia, so that editing Wikipedia may become a more enjoyable, equitable, and accessible experience.
