I have to say, as an effected organizer, that I heartily endorse this proposal. The Wiki Loves Monuments Incidentals $2,500 request will allow all the organizers at WLM-US to concentrate on the most important tasks ahead of us. We are sweating all the details right now - and I never really realized how many little things can affect a project like WLM-US. This will just give us all confidence that the little stuff is taken care of.
As far as the rest, I am not directly involved, but all the proposed activities support WLM-US and I will support them with my participation. They all look good and are the type of thing that the DC chapter has successfully done before. For the QRpedia codes - of course I have a million ideas for them, but will limit my suggestions to the top 50. This part will certainly be a success.
It's probably good to note that Wiki DC has had a huge success with WikiMania. And they will likely take part in the new FDC process starting in October. This proposal bridges the gap and, if I may be so bold, brings them down to the more ordinary smaller projects that make a chapter work. Smallbones 20:48, 13 August 2012 (EDT)
