Wikimedia DC is beginning a pilot program to provide editors with funding to buy books. You can apply for up to $500 here, and we will get back to you ASAP with a response. If you have any questions, you can email Emily Temple-Wood at keilanawiki at gmail dot com.
Who is eligible: Anyone in the United States is eligible. You do not have to be a member of Wikimedia DC. You must be an active Wikipedia editor; participating on English Wikipedia is not required.
What we can provide: We will provide you your requested books to use in improving Wikipedia!
Process: You fill out the application. We respond and let you know if your grant request is accepted, waitlisted, or rejected.
