Editing events
Wikimedia DC held four editing events this quarter:
- A Women in Arts and Tech edit-a-thon with Tech LadyMafia on July 25;
- A Women in Video and Film edit-a-thon with the Women in Film and Video Archives on August 15;
- The second annual Wikipedia APA edit-a-thon with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center on September 4; and
- The Brookland Neighborhood edit-a-thon with Catholic University on September 16.
At these four events:
- 39 people participating in editing events, including four people participating in two or more this quarter.
- Of the 39 participants, 19 were newcomers at Wikimedia DC events. None went to one or more editing events.
- 265 edits were made to 74 articles.
- 3 files were uploaded to Wikimedia Commons.
- 167,742 bytes were added or removed on Wikipedia.
Social events
Wikimedia DC held its monthly WikiSalons on August 12 and September 9, and the monthly dinner meetups were held on July 25, August 29, and September 26.

Governance
The Board of Directors met on August 9. At this meeting, the Board recommended two amendments to the Bylaws: one provision to adjust the composition of the Board from seven elected seats to six elected seats and three appointed seats, and another provision to allow the revocation of membership under certain circumstances. The Board also scheduled the annual election of directors.
