Beginners Wikipedia Workshop
Wikimedia District of Columbia is hosting a workshop for those who want to learn how to edit Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit. It is also for editors with some experience who want to learn more about editing.
Experienced Wikipedia editors will show you the ropes and answer your questions about editing, formatting, policy and collaboration with others. All you have to do is bring your laptop, notebook or tablet.

Wikimania 2012
George Washington University
Wikimania is the annual international conference of the Wikimedia community. Wikimania allows the Wikimedia community and the general public to learn about and share their experiences with free knowledge initiatives all over the world. For 2012, Wikimania is being organized by Wikimedia DC; the main conference will be held on July 12–15, 2012, with special pre-conference events beginning on July 10.
