"Sexual identity"—shouldn't this be gender identity? And this characteristic should probably be mentioned in the harassment section as well. Fran Rogers (talk) 00:10, 22 March 2013 (EDT)

Thank you for pointing this out. I agree Wikimedia DC should not discriminate on gender identity grounds, and it is a regrettable oversight that it was not included in the original policy. I propose the following amendment for the next Board meeting:

1. The Non-Discrimination Policy is amended:

a. By removing "sexual orientation, sexual identity," and inserting "sexual orientation or identity, gender identity or expression," in its place in In Article II, Paragraph 1; and

b. By inserting "gender identity or expression, " after both instances of "sexual orientation, " in Article VI, Paragraph 3.
