Content Programs Committee

1. The Content Programs Committee shall be an advisory committee to the Board of Directors, and shall consist of several persons who may, but need not be, Directors.

2. The role of the Content Programs Committee shall be:

(a) To advise the Board of Directors on programs and associated matters related to the mission and strategic priorities of the Corporation, specifically with regards to improving the content on projects operated by the Wikimedia Foundation;
(b) To assist the Board of Directors in organizing events and activities related to the foregoing; and
(c) To assist the Board of Directors in seeking partnerships and recruiting volunteers sympathetic to the foregoing.

3. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that candidates for appointment to the Committee are supportive of the strategic priorities of the Corporation and have experience organizing projects, online or otherwise, dedicated to the improvement of Wikimedia Foundation projects.

4. The Committee shall submit monthly reports to the Board of Directors, documenting the activities undertaken by the Committee. The Committee is also responsible for documenting the persons and organizations contacted by the Committee for inclusion in the Corporation's official records.

5. The Cultural Partnerships Coordinator shall be an ex officio member of the Committee.

6. The advisory Programs Committee is disbanded.

Technology Programs Committee

1. The Technology Programs Committee shall be an advisory committee to the Board of Directors, and shall consist of several persons who may, but need not be, Directors.

2. The role of the Technology Programs Committee shall be:

(a) To advise the Board of Directors on programs and associated matters related to the mission and strategic priorities of the Corporation, specifically with regards to software projects that provide direct or indirect support to projects operated by the Wikimedia Foundation;
(b) To assist the Board of Directors in organizing events and activities related to the foregoing; and
(c) To assist the Board of Directors in seeking partnerships and recruiting volunteers sympathetic to the foregoing.

3. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that candidates for appointment to the Committee are supportive of the strategic priorities of the Corporation and have experience organizing open source software projects, including, but not limited to, hack-a-thons.

4. The Committee shall submit monthly reports to the Board of Directors, documenting the activities undertaken by the Committee. The Committee is also responsible for documenting the persons and organizations contacted by the Committee for inclusion in the Corporation's official records.

5. The advisory Technology Committee is renamed the Technical Infrastructure Committee.

Community Programs Committee

1. The Community Programs Committee shall be an advisory committee to the Board of Directors, and shall consist of several persons who may, but need not be, Directors.

2. The role of the Community Programs Committee shall be:

(a) To advise the Board of Directors on programs and associated matters related to the mission and strategic priorities of the Corporation, specifically with regards to conducting outreach activities and building a local community in support of projects operated by the Wikimedia Foundation;
(b) To assist the Board of Directors in organizing events and activities related to the foregoing; and
(c) To assist the Board of Directors in seeking partnerships and recruiting volunteers sympathetic to the foregoing.

3. The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that candidates for appointment to the Committee are supportive of the strategic priorities of the Corporation and have experience in building or supporting volunteer communities.

4. The Committee shall submit monthly reports to the Board of Directors, documenting the activities undertaken by the Committee. The Committee is also responsible for documenting the persons and organizations contacted by the Committee for inclusion in the Corporation's official records.

5. The Social Media Coordinator shall be an ex officio member of the Committee.
