Social events
On August 21 and Sept 26 Wikimedia DC held WikiSalons, informal gatherings of Wikimedia enthusiasts, who come together to discuss Wikimedia issues and collaboratively edit wikis. There was no set agenda for each meeting.
On Sept 26 several of us edited the article on "Government procurement in the United States" which was something of a mess.
