1. Purpose. The purpose of this amendment is to re-define the scope of the Hiring Policy so that it applies exclusively to paid staff and not to volunteers.

2. Amendments. The Hiring Policy is amended:

(a) By striking "It also covers the recruitment of personnel for unpaid and volunteer positions, such as unpaid internships, that entail the completion of specific duties or tasks within a defined period of time." in Article I, Paragraph 1;
(b) By striking "nor to appointments expressly made by a resolution of the Board of Directors" in Article I, Paragraph 2 and replacing it with "nor to volunteer positions or appointments expressly made by a resolution of the Board of Directors"; and
(c) By striking Article III and re-enumerating Article IV as Article III.
