In honor of this Day of Remembrance, this WikiAPA Edit-a-thon will address the underrepresentation of Japanese and Japanese American women on Wikipedia and Wikidata, especially those who were incarcerated during World War II and were active in speaking out and writing about their experiences. Many local and national environmental justice women activists are not represented among Wikipedia's many biographies.
Join us to set the record straight, make some friends, and celebrate the activists who have fought to make our urban environments greener. No Wikipedia editing experience necessary; training will be provided.
