|description = Wikipedia is one of the most highly visited websites in the world, but representation of women of color is strikingly low—both in terms of who contributes to the site and the subjects they write about. Many local and national environmental justice women activists are not represented among Wikipedia's many biographies.
|description = Join us for an informal gathering of Wikimedia enthusiasts to chat about free culture topics and to edit articles together. There is no set agenda, and guests are invited to recommend articles for the group to edit or edit on their own. Coffee, tea and soft drinks will be available on site. If enough people come we'll order a pizza!

They concern moderation of content by online platforms as governed by Section 230. The cases will be heard from 10 AM to noon, one hour each. We believe that we can hear a bit of the session if we line up very early. If you can be in line by 5:30am please join us. It'll be cold and there are no easily available bathrooms so ... prepare as well as possible.

Join Wikimedia DC and the Capitol Hill Chorale as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the Shakers in America. Although small in number, the Shakers have exercised an outsized influence on American culture; we honor their egalitarian spirit with an edit-a-thon dedicated to writing notable Shaker women into Wikipedia.
