Status: Draft Wikimedia District of Columbia awards its 2014 Volunteer of the Year Award to Kristin Anderson and Jim Hayes for personal dedication to the advancement of public knowledge and the collection, development, and dissemination of educational content.
Ms. Anderson and Mr. Hayes have demonstrated exemplary commitment as volunteers for Wikimedia District of Columbia, regularly taking a lot of time to attend and volunteer at our events. They are enthusiastic, friendly, and welcoming to newcomers to Wikimedia. They are eager to help others learn about the Wikimedia projects.
