possible shorter II.3
This phrasing would be more to-the-point and I would prefer it:
- 3. Geographic Area. The Corporation will recruit members primarily from the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the States of Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia, with the understanding that similar organizations may be established in overlapping geographic areas and may also have members in these areas.
But apparently the Chapters Committee chose the earlier phrasing, and the Board generally did not want to fidldle with it. I didn't push. -- Econterms 17:27, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
- Right, I think it was one of those things we weren't allowed to change. But I like your phrasing of it. James Hare 14:05, 2 September 2012 (EDT)
