The Board of Directors of Wikimedia DC is assisted by a number of standing, special, and advisory committees, each of which is responsible for a specific area of the organization's business. The members of each committee are appointed by the Board, and each committee reports to the Board during its regular meetings.

Audit Committee

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee advises the Board on promotional and media matters and assists in preparing press releases, blog posts, and other promotional materials.

Content Programs Committee

The Content Programs Committee advises the Board on programs that help improve the content on Wikimedia projects.

Election Committee

Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Wikimedia District of Columbia

The Election Committee oversees the annual election of the Board.

Fundraising Committee

Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors of Wikimedia District of Columbia

The Fundraising Committee advises the Board on soliciting funds and preparing fundraising materials.

Governance Committee

Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors of Wikimedia District of Columbia

The Governance Committee advises the Board on legal and governance matters and assists in preparing and reviewing legal documents.

Grants Committee
