  • Berlin summit of WMF affiliates. John, Kevin P, and Peter are going. Requires some preparation, not coordination necessarily

  • Strategic planning effort, expected to involve in-person meetings in DC.
  • Prizes due to Wiki Science Competition winners?

  • Wikimania; In Katowice, Poland, for 2024. (pronounced like Katovitz)
Late fall?
  • Prep to file for annual or multi-year grant from WMF to fund routine operations (when to start? when due?)
  • Reporting on our big annual grant back to WMF. Sara knows the responsibilities. We should report for all on strategic planning efforts. (When due? Jan 2025 or sooner?)

  • Review who will be eligible to vote in our election ; sent gentle reminders to folks who might want to renew membership, but haven't
  • Board should pass draft budget for fiscal 2024-25 to offer to members on ballot

  • Line up candidates for our ballot and set it up online, and try some small scale practice votes
