2023 Board Election resolution #2

Resolution

1. The Election Committee has advised the Board of Directors (the "Board") that as of October 30, 2023, too few candidates have been duly nominated for the 2023 Board election to fill the positions on the Board.

2. It is the desire of the Board to offer a full slate of candidates, so that new Directors may be duly elected as prescribed by the Bylaws.

3. The Board resolves to extend the nomination period to the end of the day on November 20, 2023. Prospective candidates must be members of Wikimedia DC on that date to be eligible.

4. The revised voting period shall be from November 22 to December 13, 2023. Members as of November 22, 2023, are eligible to vote.

5. The Election Committee appointed by the resolution of the Board on October 3, 2023 shall remain convened until new Directors have been duly elected.

6. Except as otherwise provided for by this resolution, the ballots shall be distributed, received, and counted in accordance with Article VII of the Election Policy.
