- These are relevant to the news. Right now: what did it cost to develop healthcare.gov? Why wasn't it better ready? These are interesting and important issues to understand, apart entirely from whether one ends up throwing blame or not.
- We might be able to team up with Cato Institute again on this one
- I've edited a bunch on these topics and it's easy to see how to cover them better:
- w:Government procurement in the United States is way too long and detailed. I've been slimming it down, which takes time and thinking.
- Many relevant laws are under-described. I created and/or edited w:Federal Acquisition Reform Act, w:Federal Acquisitions Streamlining Act, and w:Competition in Contracting Act. It takes research but doesn't require much special background.
- The coverage of the healthcare.gov contractors, like CGI Federal and QSSI, is insufficient given their public importance as of fall 2013.
